100T Straddle Carriers Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Completed

DATE : Jul 17th, 2026

From July 10 to 13, 2026, a delegation of customer representatives from Africa visited our factory to conduct a four-day Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for two 100t straddle carriers. The successful completion of this FAT marks another significant milestone for the project and lays a solid foundation for subsequent equipment delivery.

100T Straddle Carrier

During the four-day acceptance process, our project team worked closely with the customer representatives, conducting comprehensive and detailed inspections on both straddle carriers in strict accordance with the technical specifications and design standards. The acceptance scope covered, but was not limited to, the following aspects:

  • Brand and Configuration Verification: Checked the brand and model of key components one by one to ensure full compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Documentation Review: Systematically reviewed technical documents, factory certificates, and inspection reports to ensure complete and standardized documentation.
  • Dimensional Inspection: Precisely measured structural dimensions and spreader spacing dimensions to verify compliance with design requirements.
  • Safety Device Testing: Comprehensively tested all types of limit switches, overload protection devices, emergency stops, and other safety devices to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.
  • Functional Testing: Lifting mechanism synchronous and independent operation tests — smooth operation and precise control; Traveling function test — smooth movement and responsive braking; Steering function test — flexible operation and timely response; Lifting speed and traveling speed tests — all met the required specifications.
  • Load Testing: Successfully completed static load tests and dynamic load tests at 1.25 times the rated load for both straddle carriers, with stable structural performance and all indicators meeting design requirements.
  • Welding Quality Inspection: Conducted on-site verification and inspection of critical welds, and reviewed welding inspection reports — welding quality satisfied customer requirements and relevant standards.

100T Straddle Carrier

After four days of rigorous and comprehensive inspections and tests, all performance indicators of the two 100t straddle carriers met the customer’s requirements, earning high recognition and unanimous praise from the customer representatives. The customer fully affirmed our product quality, manufacturing processes, and the professional competence of our project team, giving the high appraisal: “You have a great team!”

At the same time, the customer also offered valuable suggestions for improvement on certain details during the acceptance process. HuadeLift attaches great importance to this feedback and has responded proactively with optimization plans: the safety guardrails will be further reinforced per the customer’s requirements to enhance the safety of operators and maintenance personnel; the drum support plates will also be structurally optimized based on the customer’s comments to ensure long-term operational stability and reliability. All these improvements will be fully implemented prior to equipment shipment.

The successful completion of this FAT not only demonstrates HuadeLift’s technical strength and quality management capabilities in the large-scale lifting equipment manufacturing sector, but also establishes an even stronger foundation for further deepening our cooperation with the customer. We will continue to uphold our philosophy of “Quality First, Customer Foremost,” providing excellent products and services to our customers and ensuring the smooth progress of subsequent equipment delivery and on-site commissioning.
